Sunday, June 15, 2008 back from bintan (: haha, and my tagboard's full of tags. bintan was fun, i think better than malaysia lor xD haha. left home early in the morning at like 730. ok, maybe not that early (: wen to bishan to fetch gugu and mama den left to go sinming area to fetch gugu's friend. den after tt drove all d way to tanah merah d ferry terminal :D so nice d place, jus like a miniature version of d s'pore airport. so cool de, got departure and arrival also :D after tt wen in to d departure place and got on the boat :D wavemaster i think if i'm not wrong. alot of ppl, and d seat is sth like aeroplane also, 3 ppl one row. so had to seperate... anw i slept throughout d entire journey :D cos d boat ride's so nice ^^ haha. den reached in one and a half hr. go there see d time i thought how come two hours, but end up papa told me bintan slow one hr... o.O so we gain an hour. haha. after passing through d checkpoint den we wen to d two taxis, more like maxicabs since there are like 14 ppl O.o so got two of that cab. got on and we wen off to change money. wa, i love that place. haha. 1 sing dollar is equals to their 6720 rp... cool rite? haha. we go there become millionaire. xP like one dollar equals to their 6 thousand leh :D whoa (: after changing den we wen off to eat lunch. had to travel one whole hour cos that's place quite secluded. but the food's nice, nicer than d one we got at kukup :D and its quite cheap also. we got like 10 dishes one person only pay 7 sing dollar. haha. after tt cos d otah was nice, so like all of us ordered 200 more to bring bak singapore, so had to wait while they make. oh, and on the way saw many school children, turns out on saturday they have sch too :( that's so sad... but the whole island d uniform is d same de, so cool lar. haha, imagine s'pore was like that.. after eatin lunch we wen to shop, wen to d biggest shopping supermarket i think. all d things there were damn cheap, and end up gues how much we spend? XD 308 287 rp. whoa, so cool la, so much leh :D like we spend 300 thousand jus on a shopping trip. shall post a pic of d receipt later maybe. haha. but like that big amt only equals to like 30 sing dollar or a bit less. ahaha ^^ so funny la. after tt wen to eat dinner le. d whole trip was quite short and very little time cos we reach bintan at 1130 (singtime) and have to leave there at 530 (singtime) sad, wanna go there again. dinner was ok, at this restaurant place. den after tt sat boat back. was at d outside deck there enjoying d view. papa was telling me abt navy stuff. like one d left of d boat there's a red light which can only b seen from a certain angle. den on d right is green light. den also anchor boats have two lights at d start and end of the boat. so interesting :D haha. den also say last time navy nidda patrol d seas, den got one time saw a small sampan, with a few illegal immigrants wanting to land on shore singapore. den cos their job's to stop these boats from landing, so had to point guns at them and intercept their boats . den after tt gave them food and tell them to go away, haha, literally, but in a nicer way i suppose. quite sad lar, but who ask them to come s'pore illegally. oh ya, on board my boat was this boy i think abt 10 or 11 years old. he's injured or sick, not sure. but papa say is from Indonesia wan come s'pore for treatment de. den there was a drip and oxygen tank and stuff. quite scary. den after we left d boat saw 3 paramedics running towards d ship with a stretcher and some medical stuff. den we walk further up and saw an ambulance. so i suppose is send to s'pore hospital. but not sure why though. get well (: after tt had to pass immigration and stuff again. and i forgot i got bubble gums, unopened ones, like 4 tubes that i bought for meimei. den i jus pass like that, den d guy look at me but nv stop me :D haha. managed to clear den stand outside wait for d rest. den wen home ^^ reached home quite late la, at like 12 or so. wen to sleep cos was super tired. end of day :D ok, post later since meimei's comin bak tonite xD bye <3 |
